Poor service related to warantee claim at Greenside branch for Epson Ink jet printer.

I brought in my Epson Ink jet printer on 9 Jan 19 fro repair. I informed the store taht I had a 3 year exteneded warantee. Unfortunately i could not find the proof. The machine was sent in. I phoned frequently to find out the progress. They never returned my calls when I left mesages nor did they come back to me. Epson should have had record of the exteneded waranteeas it was registered on their site

I continued to search and found the extened warantee and e mailed it to the store 31 Jan. I continued to phone to find out progress. Today I got through to the consultant Siya who informed me that they got a quote for about R2000 to repair as per their records it was out of warantee. NOTE ONE MONTH has passed and they strill did not contact me despite all the follow up calls

I was furious as it ihas taken over a month to be informed that the repair has not started and that the store has not bothered to follow up and submit the warantee.

I requested to speak to the mangerof teh store, who said he would come back to with in an hour. I told him that my past experience with the store that nobody comes back. He commited that this time he would. You have guesed , no follow up. I am seriously compromised with no printer in getting out accounts. What type of company is this who just does not care about their customers.

Epson is also at fault as they refuded to honour the warantee as i never had the slip. Surely they would have record.

I definately would not recommend the store or an Epson printer
