Pathetic service

Drove 80km to get to the store in Baywest Mall Port Elizabeth to buy i fitbit for my wife thats advertised on promo, was told that it was sold out and was advised that they would get stock within the week. Was advised that the promo ends today and that they dont know if it will be on promo the week to come, asked is i could pay for it today and collect it next week. Was told that it does not work that way, when asking will they be able to keep one aside for me when they get stock and will i get if for today's promo price ,was told again that they dont work that way, and there is nothing they can do.

Now my Question, its advertised in their pamphlet and does not say " while stock last", if you advertise a product and you as the store run out of stock is it the customers problem?
