Out of Date employees

went in to purchase the iPhone 13 deal, when about to do the contract the consultant was a bit confused cause he couldn't find the deal on the system. Then he says that they only have in on 36 months not 24 like advertised. Then he was speaking with his manager, his manager then phone her supervisor. You could hear on their call that the store manager was a bit confused in regards to the special. The store manager then went to the back and printed an apology picture then showing it to us that the deal was printed incorrectly as if we were supposed to accept it, when initially it was supposed to be displayed in the store. It was the 10th of April the last day of the special which started on the 1st of April... The manager said that she did not know of the apology letter, how can you advertise something you don't know of. We then requested to speak to her superior. He wasn't really understanding, saying that even if the store is at fault they cannot honor the deal... How can you not honor the deal when you did not follow the correct procedure in the first place? The supervisor(Michael) says all he can do is reprimand the staff, how is that accommodating me or treating me fairly. He said that I can request tha telkom to give the deal otherwise if they can't i can send a request to the ombudsman(i have this call records), i told him that's its their job to request this not mine, i was here to purchase the deal i saw in the paper. how can you tell a customer to go to the ombudsman before even trying to resolve the issue. I called the store on the 13th of April cause I never got any updates after 3 days, requesting if they can honor the deal, the manager then said that telkom doesn't want to honor it and it's with their legal department and that she would call me on the 14th of April, still no update.
