OS or Hardware....

Back and forth!<br> <br> I have had a Laptop issue for the past 2 months where it continuously boots on and off ( without the screen coming on ).<br> <br> I took my laptop in to the Tech-xPerts office 3weeks ago.<br> I was called a day later stating the problem is with the OS?<br> <br> This took me by surprise and i asked a few of my colleagues who are very computer literate, work in IT, fix PC's and they couldnt also believe this.<br> <br> Now after listening to the advice of the Tech-XPert, i thought re-installing the whole OS would fix the issue.<br> <br> Even though the amount of work saved on this laptop, was extremely important, i needed to get it working asap.<br> <br> After doing the OS re-installation, the laptop still boots on and off without the screen coming on.<br> <br> Now i even checked the forums on a few websites relating to HP products, and the symptoms i was experiencing was pointing to the hardware.<br> <br> I got an IT guy who charged me R500/hour to figure out the issue which is the hardware.<br> <br> I have lost all my work because i clearly thought this was software related, and to be told by an accredited A+ technician that's its the OS, is shocking.<br> <br> Please ensure this is rectified.
