Not so incredible....

Our modem /router was returned in its box with receipt. The technician said that it had to be sent away but would speak to his manager to find out if it could be replaced or if a loan unit could be given. From the time we entered the store, the manager was hanging over the cash desk with two other consultants and a young boy laughing and chatting in the busy store. He returned to say that there is no such thing as loan units and that it would be sent away within the next 4 days only. I am not sure whether her decision was based on race and gender, but I felt extremely uncomfortable, as if I was being discussed by the group. All the time that they hanged around the cash desk, there was only one sales consultant on the floor. From the time we entered the store, they also played a song about three times, starting from VERY loud, then softer and louder, all to just be repeated again. The technician still said to the one consultant to turn it down. The manager seemed to enjoy the music and did not address the issue with the unbearably loud music or the lack of consultants on the sales floor. It is now almost two weeks later, and I am still waiting for feedback regarding the repair
