No spares on promotion item

Recently i bought a skyworth smart tv from the local store which they had on special after about a month the remote didn't work so i took it back to store where i was told to take it to the technician explaining to him the problem he immediately told me it was dropped as there was a slight dent i said that was possible but told him it had been faulty from the beginning he said it will have to be sent to the factory to be analyzed which will take upto 10 working days i then asked if they have a spare remote as i was prepared to pay for it which apparently they don't supply so in the meantime i won't have access as even downloading the remote on playstore doesn't function so just a word of warning when buying from them make sure they carry spares in order not to be inconvenienced
