Martin at Incredible Connection Rosebank has been my worst service experience in my entire life!

Called Rosebank store around 4pm to confirm if the phone I wanted to purchase was available in store, after being advised I can come in before 6pm I dashed off to Rosebank.

Spent about 10min checking out phones and did not see what I called for, consultant approached to assistance. He initially said they do not have the nova Y90 and I confirmed the above. He went to check who spoke to me on the phone, and came back with the required and stated that Martin will assist further as he spoke to me on the phone.

Believe me, that Martin is a waste of space!! The cashier processed my payment and i was just left with the box. I had to find a corner to unwrap the phone and confirm the contents!! In my frustration, I asked for assistance and was again referred to Martin who had disappeared into thin air. When he magically came back to do his job, he told me I have to ****** pay R200 for him to assist with confirming contents of the phone and switching it on to ensure there are no defaults!!

Which was puzzling cause in my 26 years of living and buying gadgets, I HAVE NEVER LEFT A STORE WITHOUT THE CONSULTANT DOING quality checks, and as for paying for such???? The wildest thing ever!!

Eventually a young man assisted as i had insisted to not leave the store without being satisfied about my purchase. Once done, I asked if what he has done cost R200 as I would like to make payment and in shock he asked who had advised of this.

Its so wild how you have people like Martin working in that store trying to rob customers of their money for work he is being paid for.

To experience such was utter garbish!! If you cant fully provide a service than don't provide it at all. Ensure your staff is treating customers with respect and dignity!
