Mall of Africa staff are lazy and *********** in the jobs!

We purchased an Alcatel 1T tablet online on the 13 of December as a gift for one of our twins who broke her current tablet. We bought it online as we can not take our twins into a store as they are both autistic and get over stimulated quickly. We bought it on the 13th and it arrived fairly quickly. When it came I kept it away without opening it but decided to open it the next day to charge it and check that it is in working condition before giving it to her for Christmas in the days to come. We charged it too 100% and switched it on and immediately I knew something was wrong as the tablet was extremely slow. Now, I know very well about these tablets as it is the 4th one we had to get in the last year as autistic kids break their tablets super fast. Out off the 4 tablets we purchase to date, none of them had been this slow. Once we set up the tablet it kept switching off while in use. It could be any app or even YouTube and it would just restart. So obviously there was an issue. So we were advised from the whatsapp portal to take the brand new unit in store for assessment 2 days after purchase. So the very next day we take it to the MALL OF AFRICA where you have employed the laziest bunch of people we have ever encountered in sales. This trip was the first of 4 trips to this store. My husband went into the store as we used his card for this purchase. When he got there he was advised that they would take the unit in for assessment or we could have a refund which according to the man in the tech department would take a very long time to process as we did the payment online( he ****). He then said that it would be better for us to take the tablet and drive to fourways where they have stock. Now we are driving all this time with these kids in the car and keeping them in the car because we can not take them into the mall! We get to fourways mall to be told that they are fed up of the Mall of Africa staff sending people to them and telling them they have stock of things they don't have. The gentleman then told us that he can not do the return as we would have to do it with the mall closest to our home!!!!! What the hell for!!!!! Anyway, we left it for that day and decided to go back again to the mall of africa 3 more times with this tablet and each time my husband was sent away to go get another document and another and another. They kept telling him different stories until today. We had enough. This is not how you treat people who pay money to your establishment with trust to purchase working items! He went to the store and was given some **** story again but this time he insisted on the refund. He was told he can only get store credit but none off your stores have stock of this tablet so someone then tells him so why don't u buy the Samsung tablet!!!! There is a reason we buy a cheaper tablet and it's got nothing to do with your people! We need to purchase more than one tablet a year as our kids will break it mo matter which brand it is. We don't need to be told what they think needs to be done but rather to do their jobs instead of getting a paying customer to the point of having to raise their voices to get their own money back! What pathetic service! My husband, who doesn't even raise his voice at us, actually got so ****ed off today that he had to lose his cool to get what was due to him! After he was granted his full cash refund, he is now met with a cashier who bluntly tells him she can't help him because she doesn't have R1000 in her till! She insisted that he just come back to the car and fetch his bank card or he must leave! After standing his ground, she opens the very same till she said she didn't have the cash in and gave him his money back! This has to be the worst service I have every encountered. We purchase online every single week. With our kids and us not being able to take them out, we use online shopping as a survival but this was the very last time I would every purchase from incredible connection. Maybe go remind your staff at the mall of africa that life is very hard for lots of unemployed south Africans so if they do not like their jobs they should rather leave and give someone else a chance who will be happy to have that very same job.
