JBL Clip 2: Clip is not part of warranty according to JBL representative and Incredible Connection

Late December I got gift from my girlfriend: portable speaker JBL Clip 2. After about 2 months of normal using Clip has detached from speaker. I was using clip to hang speaker, as was designed for. I went with this problem to Incredible Connection store and left speaker for repair on warranty. After about 3 weeks I was informed by Incredible Connection, that representative of JBL didn't approve repair or replacement. I was informed that Clip is not part of speaker and it's not on warranty. Isn't that ironic that product called JBL Clip 2 doesn't cover Clip as part of warranty? Besides I wonder how come representative of JBL decide what is in warranty and what is not, since product was sold by Incredible Connection. Without clearly set rules company like Incredible Connection can say no to whatever warranty claim costumer would potentially have. I promised myself to not buy any JBL products in future and definitely won't buy anything from Incredible Connection!
