Incredibly disappointing

Incredible connection gave me a deal and allowed me to understand what a good deal I would be receiving! BUT not to be...

I went to there sore on the 14 May inquiring about a Kindle as my fiance's Bday was the next day 15 May and she was keen on one. I spoke to the incredible connection salesman and he guided me towards this kindle touch special offer, He asked me to look at his computer screen that gave the breakdown of this kindle, on the specifications it said back-light display - Y It was more than I wanted to spend but the salesman told me I could go look anywhere and that it was a good deal. So i decided to take it, I gave to my lady on her Bday and she was excited, started playing around that evening and we couldn't find where to put the display light on, went back to incredible connection shop the next morning to ask if the salesman that helped me could show me, he played around a bit then spoke with the other salesman and said maybe it does not have a backlight display, we got the manager out and i showed him on the site of incredible connections that it says it does have, he saw and said that they would contact me bit later in the day once they have spoken to head office. He called me to say yes it was a mistake from there side and they cannot give me what was advertised! I feel bitterly disappointed in the way this sales deal was handled and upset that I couldn't give my fiance the kindle I thought I wanted to give her.

I would like to hear back from Incredible connection as I don't feel its fair for them to advertise something and then find out its not what they said it would be!

Is this the first time something like this has happened? Cannot be sure as it seems to be swept under the carport quiet easily!

I have a screenshot i took in the store, I showed the managers and we went on PC by there tills and he saw it there for himself.
