Incredible misrepresentation aka connection

I purchased a gaming headset (turtle beach) for my son for Xmas . Specifically asked the salesman about inherent floors in the product. He explained some of those units break at the" pivots " on each side. When I asked if this would be covered he stated yes. Well ,it broke on both sides EXACTLY where he said it could. Incredible connections response..... Physical damage/not covered!!!! Kept ALL THE PACKAGING ETC. Not at all impressed. Borderline ******** misrepresentation. Disgusting response . Taken months for replies.
