Incredible Connection voiding warranty because of a manufacturing defect

Deeply disappointed in the service from Incredible Connection regarding my ASUS ROG Strix G16 Laptop.

My device suffered a catastrophic motherboard failure during normal use. Despite this being a very well-documented manufacturing defect, specifically a design flaw in the G614J series regarding an oversized ***** near the left fan, which causes a short circuit, burning a hole through the motherboard. Incredible Connection is attempting to avoid the warranty obligations by labeling it a power surge.

I appealed their first reply with information about this well-documented manufacturing defect. But they just came back for a second time, saying it's a power surge. I do not think the technicians even looked at / or got the information I sent. I have been unable to contact anyone higher up in the company, as Jason at the Blue Route branch will not let me speak to anyone else.

This process started on the 9th of April. My laptop has been sent to Johannesburg twice, and I have had to spend R5550 so far on renting a laptop, as I have to keep working.
