Incredible connection should stick to brick and mortar stores

Incredible connection has really failed at delivering a seemless online experience and the worse thing is they cannot acknowledge their mistake or rectify it timeously. Last week I ordered an Apple Watch Series 7 Nike edition at over 8K. Incredible was offering it with a free AirTag as a bundle (good for them) . I patiently waited for the order as their site clearly says delivery happens in 3 to 6 days. All other watches that were out of stock you could not add to cart and had a add to wish list option, but my one went through and had an add to cart option meaning they could fulfil the order.

Over the weekend the order could now be tracked online and had a “partial order written” that worried me as I had ordered 1 thing that cannot be delivered in parts. First thing that angered me I received a call Sunday night from the mall of Africa branch to advise there was no stock at their store and there was one Watch in Pietermaritzburg but that had been reserved for a customer. Firstly I did not order from a physical store why was I getting a call from one. Secondly you are reserving a watch for someone who hasn’t paid yet I have an order number and have no watch? I told the lady I had a tracking number and that she should call me Monday to confirm what is being delivered. I ordered a watch not an AirTag and I paid Watch price so I do not want an AirTag delivered. Monday came no call, Tuesday I go an SMS to say my parcel was coming I called again the online help team to ask what was being delivered as I had been told there is no stock. I was told my parcel is coming and I was given a tracking number. Lo and behold the parcel was delivered, it was just the airtag. I called to get it resolved and was told issues are addressed in 24 hours. This has already elapsed after the initial call on Sunday. I was told my order was still within the 3 to 6 days and the Watch was coming from another warehouse. The lady at Mall of Africa clearly said there was no stock in the whole company. So question is why was I sold a non existent product, offered a bundle deal and now I end up with something I never wanted to begin with. To add insult to injury today I received an invoice for the AirTag that I never wanted to begin with. It’s like buying a car and getting a complimentary key ring and only getting the key ring and being told we are now billing if you for the key ring while we wait for your car.

It’s absolutely absurd because now I won’t get a full refund due to this stupid delivery and invoice that I have received. Incredible connection basically stole my money and sold me what I did not want
