Incredible Connection should be renamed to Incomprehensible Con-section.

This is by far the absolute worst customer service experience of my life. I am currently sitting with R65,000 in financing debt, and the Cavendish Square store cannot even tell me where my laptop is.

Here is how Incredible Connection at Cavendish Square, Claremont, completely failed me: On Wednesday, 19 August 2026, I went in to enquire about stock for an ASUS TUF G16 (R36,500) to purchase the following week. I was confidently told stock was available at both the V&A Waterfront and Canal Walk branches.

On Wednesday, 26 August 2026, I returned to finalise the financing. Again, they assured me stock was nearby and explicitly promised the machine would be ready for collection on Monday, 31 August 2026.

On Thursday, 27 August 2026, they called me back to the store because their staff forgot to scan my ID. I work from home on Thursdays, meaning I had to waste my time and petrol on an unneeded 26km round trip.

On Friday, 28 August 2026, they dragged me into the store again for "additional signatures." Despite the incompetence, they re-promised delivery for Monday.

On Monday, 31 August 2026 (Collection Day), I drove to Cavendish to collect my laptop. It wasn't there. Suddenly, the story changed: it wasn't coming from another branch, it was "ordered from the warehouse" and was on its way.

On Tuesday, 1 September 2026, I went back. Same excuse. "It's on its way."

On Wednesday, 2 September 2026, I went back again. Still nothing. I completely lost my cool and demanded a tracking number or a straight answer. Nobody could give me one.

On Thursday, 3 September 2026 (Today), I am still waiting. I haven't received a single follow-up or a ****** phone call.

To add absolute insult to injury, after making me jump through hoops and trapping me in debt for a missing laptop, they expect me to pay extra for them to install the additional RAM and SSD that I bought!

They were remarkably quick to lock me into a R65,000 credit agreement, but when it comes to delivering the product or communicating like professionals, they are utterly useless. Save yourself the petrol, the debt, and the rage—avoid Incredible Connection Cavendish Square at all costs.
