Incredible Connection - **** on Warranty Repairs

On the 24/09/2023 I took my Blackview Tablet to the Ilanga Mall Incredible Connection shop for them to check it as it was not switching on. I took to them as the Tablet was still on Warranty.

They took it and promised they will give me feedback on the repairs progress. After two weeks they called and told me they think it is liquid damage and they said I must pay around R1700 for repairs for a Tablet I bought for R2000.

When I refused to pay the R1700, they demanded that I pay I rejection fee that was never mentioned when I brought the Tablet. Now they are refusing to give back my Tablet, they say I can only get if I pay.

The main challenge for me is why I was never told about the rejection fee, I tried to reason with the store manager, she admitted they made a mistake for not telling and promised I will get back the damaged Tablet but until today they are refusing to give the Tablet back.
