Incredible Connection not so incredible!

I bought a 3B DStv decoder from Incredible connection. My installer installed it and called Multichoice to register it in my name. The tele-assistant advised that the unit, although having been new and in a sealed box, was already registered to someone else. My installer had to uninstall it and re-pack into its box.

Next day, at 09:00, I was at Incredible Connection on the Waterfront. The store was still closed. Opened about 5 minutes later.

Went to the cashier and explained my problem and that I would like a replacement. No she responded, the technician first has to inspect it. No problem I responded, so "where is your technician?"

I had to wait half-an-hour for the technician to arrive.

At that stage I was livid. Decided that I wanted a credit for the return.

This was given and I went to Tafelberg Furnishers, where I have always received excellent service. My old friend Cassiem attended to me and I walked out with a new decoder.
