Incredible connection incredible at breaking undertakings

I purchased a XBox X series from IC at the Clearwater branch with the understanding that because there were no units in Gauteng even though they were running a special, that they would get one from their Welkom branch as my son's birthday was on 4 November and I was assured that it would be here in time, I paid on 24/10/24 for the item with a delivery expectation of between 2-5 days, on 30 October I called Clearwater to check if the item was delivered, they then undertook to call Welkom branch to follow up, on the same day I received a SMS stating that my order was with the courier under order number ***, on 1/11/24 I received another SMS from Amarex that my order has been received at the shipping facility, I spoke to Gqonso at IC Clearwater today and he confirmed that they had not received the item and have been trying to call Amarex call centre but no one was answering, so I will not have the gift in time, so a big thank you to IC Welkom and IC Clearwater for spoiling a 10 year olds birthday, you guys are great at not keeping what you undertook to do, especially since if I did not phone to follow up, this item would still be in Welkom.
