Ignored By Service Provider To my Detriment

In terms of the National Credit Act, credit providers “must” deliver periodic statements to avoid being in breach of the law as this denies the consumer the ability to track payments and balances. Connectfin has failed to provide me with these monthly statements even upon several requests, which shows very questionable and ********* conduct that I have no choice but to approach the Credit Ombud about.

I have a contract for an electronic product with Connectfin, that I have wanted to settle and close before the contract term end date, since February. I requested a settlement amount letter which I was given many weeks after my request and was wrongfully charged for monthly billings that I had already paid for and which were charged at a higher amount than what they usually do. I raised this as an issue and asked for a re-calculation stating all the facts that show their faults and how my best interests as their client, haven’t been prioritized even when my account with them has been in advance for the past two months. Of the entire 12+ months of my affiliation with them, I have only received my account statement once, in February this year even when I have sent numerous emails asking for this document which should be rightfully sent to me on a monthly basis. That one time when I received it, I saw many discrepancies and extra incurred costs and sent lengthy emails that they once again ignored. Connectfin, Incredible Connections, and JD Group, have failed me as their client who has even paid them advanced payments and just want to pay off my remaining balance but because they seemingly want to get as much money as they can from me, for the next months; while thumb-sucking the monthly charges over their monthly instalments even when one of their agents, whose name I have, verified that monthly charges should be reduced when an account is in advance. Talk about daylight *******.
