High-end ASUS laptop broken within 6 months!

<p>I bought a new Asus FX550V laptop in July this year which was an expensive high-end laptop. It is less than 6 months down the line and my laptop has an issue where it cannot run on just the battery but has to be connected to the charger at all times. Whenever I run the laptop off the battery the computer will short and switch off after some time. This makes it impossible to use the laptop without being permanently attached to a power supply. I am annoyed because this laptop is less than 6 months old and it is giving such huge problems. I believe I am legally allowed to request my laptop be replaced or I get credit towards a different laptop if it starts giving major issues, such as this, within 6 months. I need to speak to someone who can help me because the manager at Incredible Connection Cavendish was not willing to help me out properly. I am unable to return my laptop for the extended 3 week period before it is finally replaced or I am credited.</p>
