Frustrated, disappointed but hopeful (delays and cancellations of an order)
I am still really hoping for a positive outcome, but after 3 weeks, I suspect it may not go that way. Ordered a laptop on promotion online. Said delivery would be 15 working days, which already is miles behind most online retailers. Oh well, the deal was good. Waited two weeks and was then informed that the laptop will not be arriving as the supplier had run out. A substitute was offered which met none of the requirements I had. I declined and asked when the supplier would have stock. Response times to all my emails were roughly 2 to 3 days which does not help a frustrated client. The agent finally rep**** suggesting it may be 3 weeks later but there were no guarantees. End of mail. More frustration. I then found a laptop which suited my needs and had the same retail price on their site. I asked if they could apply the same discount as the other one given we had agreed a contract, they have taken my money weeks before, and would now surely be tryning to keep me happy...as none of this had been any fault of mine. Again no answer. Despite all communications copying in 3 other (presumably senior) colleagues. So here I sit over a month after ordering and paying, and the agents completely unwilling or unable to help, urgently requiring a new machine, and getting zero joy from the official channels we are asked to use. I don;t like resorting to Hello Peter or other social media unnecessarily as mistakes happen, and if they are dealt with well, no problem. But this has not been. Anyway, I will resist taking my complaint anywhere else t this point, but felt it would be worth sharing this story. With all the online competition you'd think they would make more of an effort, so at this stage I am unlikely to use Incredible Connection again, and would not recommend anyone else does either if you want fast, professional and client-oriented support. But let's see, maybe someone reading this has more clout the agent I Have been dealing with...fingers crossed.
