Frustrated Customer

Was at one of there stores and saw an item with a sale price on it showing R2499. I asked the sales assistant if that was the price for that item and he said yes. I took that item to the till to pay for it but then the sales assistant said to me that was the wrong price and the manager refused to sell that item to me. I have the pictures of the item and the sale tag that was actually on the item. I logged a complaint with their head office. A guy by the name of Hannes called me and said unfortunately there cannot give me the item at that price. He said I can take the matter to the Consumer Protection Act if I wanted which I will. I will also make them famous on all the social media platforms.
