False adverti*****t

The store in East London confirmed that the offer on Bitdefender Total Security (5 devices) is currently for online purchases as they are still awaiting stock.

I went onto the website, created my account and proceeded to buy the product. My payment was reversed twice, and not for lack of funds. It seems the product is out of stock, yet it is advertised as being available.

This morning I phoned in at 10:20 and spoke to Glendale (spelling??) and after explaining the issue, I asked him if I can make a payment to secure my product and if and when it becomes available, it can be delivered as agreed. He put me on hold and that's where I was for the remainder of the phone call which lasted 26 minutes. Anita was as helpful when I phoned again, saying that I cannot make a payment for an item that is not available,

This is clearly a case of false adverti*****t. Their Black Friday specials are suspect to say the least. How can a company list a product, only to reverse payment because it is out of stock? I believe there WAS no stock to begin with.

This consumer is NOT happy.
