Extremely Disappointed in Service and Product Handling

On Tuesday, 8 July, I purchased an iPad in cash from Incredible Connection Kathu and specifically asked for a silicone screen protector to be app****. Unfortunately, the staff member who assisted me sprayed the screen excessively wet — far more than necessary — and initially placed the screen protector the wrong way around, with the sticky side facing up.

When he tried to fix it, there were already visible particles of dust, lint, and dirt trapped between the screen and the protector. We immediately pointed this out and explained that we were not willing to pay so much money for something to be taken home in such poor condition — especially not something that could potentially damage the iPad screen.

Instead of handling the situation professionally, the staff member became arrogant and rude — as though we were being unreasonable for expecting a proper job to be done on an expensive device. He tried aggressively to push the bubbles and moisture out, but it only worsened the issue.

We returned on Saturday to show that debris was still trapped under the protector and explained our concern about the safety of the screen. Thankfully, someone else with more skill replaced the screen protector, but the original staff member’s attitude remained unprofessional and dismissive — simply because we expected quality service and care.

What makes it worse is that on Monday evening, when I finally took the iPad out of the box again, I noticed a rainbow-like mark on the screen — as if there had been pressure app**** too hard. It looks like a pressure stain, and now my iPad, which isn’t even a week old, already shows signs of possible screen damage.

I’m incredibly upset. This was an expensive purchase, and instead of peace of mind, I now have anxiety every time I look at the screen. The person who app**** the first screen protector clearly didn’t know what he was doing and then treated us as though we were the problem.

I would like to know what Incredible Connection plans to do to resolve this. This kind of service is unacceptable.
