Display item sold as New

My wife recently visited the Ballito branch of Incredible Connection to buy a Dash Cam. The only one they had stock of, was the display unit. The manager was attempting to sell the display unit as NEW STOCK. Once an item is out of the box, and the " for your protection" sticker is broken, a store can not sell the item as new, because it isn't. For all i know, a customer could have purchased the item, and returned it because it was faulty, and the store put it on the shelf as a display item. I emailed IC customer service and received a "Kindly consult the store manager directly in relation to your query and not one of the sales staff." reply from a Tanya Haywood.

Now there is top class customer service for you. I wonder how may other items are sold as new my incredible connection.
