DISGUSTING SERVICE

Returned UNOPENED STOCK to the value of R4777.00 to the Nicolway Branch on Sat 4 June 2016. Cashier refunded my card via the SpeedPoint and via the till.

By Friday 10 June, the funds were still not in my account so began to call the branch. I must have called around 10 times with no answer. I then contacted their helpline via the internet who didn’t know why the phones weren’t being answered but said someone would call me back within 24 hrs.... wow, 24 hrs. when your phone lines are down.

In the mean time I got hold of Nicolway Centre Management who said the store was having phone line issues and gave me a managers cell phone as an alternate number. When I called I was answered by a male and when I asked who was speaking I got "who do you want to speak to?" Is this now how store backup numbers are answered.

Anyway, I explained my situation and he explained the store phones had been down for 2 weeks. And the head office didn’t even know and also why no alternate number on the website.

I went through the story and was asked "do you have any proof you returned the items to the store?" I was astounded. Surely you could look at the transactions for the day? How many people would do a refund for exactly R4777.00?

So he then promised to get back to me the following day (Sa****ay). Sa****ay at 11h00 I decided to phone and ask. He then said he'd let me know. He then forgot the cashier to call.

She then explained some long winded story about systems being down, emails to head office and all other stories.

I was promised to have the money back by Monday. Well, Monday is here and still no money. How much longer must I wait? What does your internal issues have to do with me the client?

#paybackthemoney
