****************

I purchased a ps4 game from Incredible Connection in Bayside in December. The game runs, but is faulty. The movies skip, it freezes, it cuts out and force closes. The sound while reading the disc is also not normal ( note a brand new console which plays all other games perfectly ). On attempting to return the game I was immediately accused of piracy and having faulty hardware. Really? Four friends of mine have the game, why would I pay R850 for a brand new game. On purchase the box was not sealed, they brought a loose disc out of the back. I have tried everything with them, I have even contacted head office but they have made it clear it's not their problem and it's against their policy to refund or replace software. The store did not even have facility to test the game, and told me I must bring my console in to the store, which is utterly ridiculous. Eventually they had a unit instore to test, and the first time they tested it they ADMITTED there was something wrong with the game, but eventually just gave it back saying there is nothing wrong with the game, that I need to do a software undate, which is nonsense. I eventually purchased a second hand copy of the game from elsewhere, for R300, guess what, it works perfectly. Eventually they claim they sent it away for testing, but refuse to offer any proof. Head office has not contacted me after phoning them FOUR times and lodging a complaint. The store has made it clear that they aren't going to help me. I sit now R850 out of pocket with a faulty game. What must I do now? I have been ******! I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase anything from them ever. All I see about them is negative reviews. It's ****************. What ever happened to doing right by the customer. They stole from me
