Black Friday Ripoff

I have headed this "breach of contract" as this is what it in essence amounts to. When attempting to purchase one of their Black Friday deals, ie, an ACER ASPIRE V3-575G I7 NOTEBOOK, it kept on hanging at the Stage 3 of the payment process with a pop-up stating that I must "select a shipping method" (although you cannot get to Stage 3 without selecting one). On phoning the call center on numerous occasions and being informed that they had a problem, the techies were working on it, being assured that my order was secured as long as it remained in "my cart" and I must keep on trying, their system eventually informed me after about 4 to 5 hours that the product was now out of stock. Not had they only wasted my time but in effect had prevented me from shopping elsewhere as I really did not want to end up with two laptops. At least other companies in the same boat had the decency to say we cannot handle the trade volume and to come back later.

For a company that states "Our X-factor: Yes, we have a comprehensive range of innovative products. Yes, our range extends from practical solutions for any home or business environment to specialist products that push the boundaries of technology. If you want tech, we’ve got it. What really sets us apart is our service offering. Our technical expertise together with top-notch service and after-sales support is what keeps our customers coming back; time after time, year after year", their systems and service sucks.
