Impressions: A very bad experience

<p>Based on a reference from a friend, we covered two hang-back chairs with a company called Impressions. After paying an agreed 70% deposit the chairs were collected from our home. Then, we received a WhatsApp on the Friday, scheduled for delivery, stating that we had to pay the outstanding amount before I will receive delivery of my chairs. This made no sense to us since we never agreed to this.</p> <p>I then contacted Impressions and explained that we are more than willing to pay the outstanding amount immediately once we receive the chairs and are happy with the workmanship. This quickly turned into a blatant threat and they stated that they will simply take ownership of our chairs if we do not pay before delivery.</p> <p>Needless to say, we were speechless and couldn’t understand why our request seems unreasonable but obviously it was. Maybe we are too naïve, but we don’t understand why it would be unreasonable to want to see a final custom-made product before paying a measly outstanding 30%.</p>
