Atrocious service and workmanship

My first review I was bul**** and the printing of my books held hostage until I removed it. ( email correspondence as proof)

This printing company together with the assisted publishing company Rebel Rabble have been providing atrocious service. Since June when I signed off for printing there has been numerous mishaps and delays where the files had discrepancies and the books printed were sent to me with major flaws

From the 100 copies only 10 copies was ok, 39 was completely damaged and the rest were with minor flaws. Both these companies knew I needed copies for preorders and to hand over to a distributor however they failed to deliver what I paid for.( I fully paid in May) Three times they have printed to replace the 39 copies each time the damages being worse, with their printing machines dirty, ink smudges and streaks, books trim incorrectly, wrap warped, stapled stress, stapled holes, misalignment and unable to open copies because the books were stapled incorrectly.

Eventually now after wasting months they let me down with the printing by giving me two options: to wait till January(which is too late they knew) or refunding me for the 39 copies(R56 each was what I paid) and referring me to 4 local printers that can print in Dec for me. I opted for second option Rebel Rabble have defaulted on that by reducing my refund stating it’s admin costs and lying about the cost I paid per copy and checking proof copy(1 proof I was given) and I was sent one number of a printer that is already on backlog of their print jobs so it’s impossible for me to get my copies printed in time or with the reduced refund( I had to wait almost two weeks for) they gave me. This printing company had refused to reply to my WhatsApp message or phone calls when I initially tried to find out about the delay. They and the assisted publishing company have cheated me from my refund and impeded my progress and sent me damaged copies.
