Paying for what I don't know

I've been contributing since 2019 for the policy to cover my 10 dependents including me. Recrutet by my partner to join the policy as dependent but not a society. But the policy didn't pay for his dependent due to the wrong spelling of his dependent by the name but the ID number was correct only the last letter 'h' of the name was not on their list. I rectified my dependents list in August but till today I haven't receive my updated or amended list. What's going to happen if I claim???
