Review for the business "Imperisys" and "Over to Solar"

"Imperisys" (name used in the quote) is a business who installed a hybrid solar system at my house - it seems as if they later changed their name to "Over to Solar" (name appearing in the email address). Although they installed good quality products, their follow-up service and communication was poor and far below standard. As soon as you commit to 80% of the quote down payment , they neglect you as a client.

There were many times when they promised to come to my house to do the installation work, but never showed up. During the installation I requested, via email and verbally, the criteria for a legal Certificate of Compliance (COC). They never responded to any of my emails. The company refused to give me the COC until the last 20% of the quote was paid. I subsequently paid the installation in full and received a photo of an allegedly ********** COC via sms. Moreover, the name of the supposed electrician who issued this COC never visited to test or look at the solar installation at my house. After I asked them several times to bring me a hardcopy of my COC, "Imperisys/Over to Solar" never comp**** with the formal request for a legal COC. Their noncommittal was also echoed by another client.

Due to legal requirements as a house owner, I had to use an external electrician to check the whole system and furnish me with a legal and valid COC. This person knew the background and can verify that several transgressions had been committed in the installation of this system which was duly fixed before furnishing me with a legal COC. I will never recommend "Imperisys/Over to Solar" to anyone based on their noncompliance and negligence regarding the safety of my house. This external electrician also questioned the validity of the COC I received in a photo via sms.
