WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE TOYOTA IMPERIAL BEDFORDVIEW

My daughter made an appointment with the sales consultant, LEN, to view and test drive a vehicle last week Friday. She then advised him 30 min later that she would take the car and to please provide her with the neccessary documentation. She also stated that the administrative fee, which included registration and licensing as per Len, of R4 500 was a bit high and if they could drop it to R2 500. LEN advised that he could only send the neccessay papers to her on Monday and would let her know regarding the administrative fee. On Monday he sends her the documentation and advises that the admin fee is reduced to R2 500. He also requests documentation from her, which she provides to him. Monday afternoon he notifies her the administrtive fee is R2 500 plus R850 licencing fee. She tells him that that was not the agreement and his response is,there is nothing he can do. She accepts that and advises as such. He notifies her that the vehicle has been sent for the service and repair to the bumper as agreed. This morning at 7:58 she sends him the reference number of the offer to purchase from the bank. Later this morning he advises her that he needs to know if she is approved for the loan as there is someone else interested in the vehicle. She tells him that the reference number is proof that she has been approved for the loan and that he needs to retrieve the documentation for her to come and sign and take posession of the vehicle. This afternoon he notifies her that the vehicle has been sold to someone else!! Whe we speak to the buyer principal he states the vehicle was sold to someone else on Saturday already.....offer to purchase and everything done on Saturday..............really?? Someone's story does not match and then when my daughter tells LEN that she is not happy, he has the audacity to tell my daughter that he no longer wants to deal with her! The dealer principal is basically covering for the sales consultant and according to him a verbal agreement also means nothing, bearing in mind that it was not only verbal, but a WhatsApp message as well. Great customer service LEN - because you did not do your job from the start, my daughter has lost valuable time in obtaining a vehicle. Guess what - because of this behaviour from one sales consultant/dealer principal the whole Imperial Toyota Group has not just lost one customer, but two. I am also in the market for purchasing a new vehicle and this type of "customer service" has just narrowed my search! Thanks Toyota Imperial!!
