Misled into buying overpriced bakkie from dealership

19 January 2018 I am writing to you not only to inform of my experience but also in the hope that you could make others aware. I purchased a Toyota hilux 2016 2.4 a.c bakkie from Toyota rossburgh on 11th of December 2017. As a first time buyer I felt confident about purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. I thought I could rely on them for honest advice and the best deal. Toyota, being a popular brand. You would expect nothing less. I was surely mistaken. I found out a few days later after purchase that I was overcharged. On querying this , I was told that I was not. I thereafter took the vehicle to another Toyota dealership for an evaluation. They Informed me that the right hand side panel, door and bonnet had been repaired and painted. The salesman at rossburgh toyota failed to disclose this to me after asking him if it was. The vehicle was evaluated at R150000. I then asked them what I would pay, had I purchased a the same bakkie from them and I was told I would pay R265000 for a 2018 model brand new. On the 6th day of the purchase, I went back to Toyota rossburgh and asked them to take the bakkie back or to honour the deal. They refused, saying that they could only take in back should it have mechanical problems. I would like for this problem to be resolved. Toyota being a household name has failed to honour to their promise to " provide sound advise" and to keep the customer informed. I expected transparency and accountability but instead on have been left out of pocket and cheated. I hope this received your favourable consideration Thank you in advance.
