"Practically NEW" car that leaves you stranded during test drive!!!

We went to test drive a prospective car at Renault Princess Crossing... The car seemed perfect, only 37 000 km on the clock (a few scratches and things which needed fixing, but nothing particularly bad).

Not even 1km into the test drive and the engine lost all power. We could barely drive 10 km/h on Ontdekkers and had to pull over. So, we call the dealer and told him; he responded with 'didn't you stall it? You need to press the clutch down". It was relatively insulting, but it gets a lot worse.

He came to get us were we stood next to the road... He came with a BMW and I assumed we would drive that back and he would take the broken car... No such luck, he said we have to drive it back and laughed when I asked whether we can take the BMW instead. His answer was no and he promised to stick with- drive slowly. He didn't - instead he spend off, leaving us on our own.

We couldn't make it back and had to pull off at a parking. We had to WALK the rest of the way back. When we got there, he did a disappearing act. His manager wasn't there either.

Officially the worst service and test drive possible.
