Unfaithful service
I bought my Nissan Qashqai in 2016 at Nissan Parow. The salesman told me the car will come with an alarm system, smash & grab and a tracker. I never had challenges or experienced problems with my car neither was I ever in a situation that activates my alarm. Yesterday, Sunday 28 July 2019 my car was broken into and my property ****** from the car. I contacted Beamie as I assumed they were the tracker and alarm company. They informed me that they are only responsible for the tracker. The alarm is the responsibility of the dealership. I contacted Nissan Parow to speak to the sales consultant that sold me the car. Apparently he hasn't been working there for more than a year now as well as the finance lady was on pension. I asked to talk to the manager for the brand new car sales as the person I spoke to was saying I bought a second hand car and it might have challenges. The manager said he didn't understand what was happening but he'll ask the workshop. He called me back & said he's gonna check my contract and get back to me. He never didn't so I went to the dealership to speak to the manager. He said the sales consultant that sold me the car was maybe not faithful/honest or he didn't understand the product well. I don't understand how he expects me to accept that. Had I known 3 years ago the car didn't have an alarm system I definitely would have already had it installed. Nissan's negligence in training their staff cost me my car. Now I have to pay an excess fee that I didn't plan for & have to only now have an alarm system installed. I am very disappointed at Nissan. I don't think I would advise anyone to buy their products. They should be liable for paying the excess fee to have my car repaired.
