Selling Accident Damaged Vehicles

I was sold a badly accident damaged Pajero Sport, that was claimed to only have had some minor work done after hail damage to its bonnet. I thought I'd found a great deal and committed to the vehicle off the back of the information from the sales rep and the fact that this is an Imperial Dealership, selling 'certified used cars'. I was well accomodated, being picked up from the local airport late in the evening, they opened up the dealership for me to complete the F&I information etc. I then drove straight back to Joburg that night. Only in the morning light did I discover the truth about the vehicle, even to a layman, it was obvious this car had rolled before.

I promptly cancelled the deal. I did get a refund of my expenses in collecting the vehicle, however not even an apology from the Deal Principal, who quickly hid behind legal counsel. This screams liability and knowledge of the issues with the deal.
