Nissan Aftermarket Parts

<p>I just need to know why Nissan is not supplying aftermarket parts for their own vehicles. I need to replace the Alternator pulley on my Nissan Pathfinder. I went to Imperial Nissan Parow and was told I can't buy the pulley on its own. I have to buy a new alternator, although my alternator itself is not faulty, just to replace the pulley at a cost of R13000. I searched online and it is supp**** separately throughout the world at around R600 except in South Africa. This is ridiculous. I have to now try and source it from somewhere else and while I am searching my vehicle can't be used. It is time that something is done to vehicle manufacturers in South Africa for ripping us off.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please assist as to why this is the case. I was always under the impression that vehicle manufacturers are supposed to supply replacement parts.</p> <p> </p>
