Honda VFR 1200 F Drive Shaft Product Recall

Greetings. I have a Honda VRF 1200 F motorcycle. I have noted that there was a strange mechanical noise coming from somewhere in the rear wheel area, I think. I pointed this out to Honda when I took my bike in for a service. Honda assured me that the problem was minor. the problem persisted, so I went onto the internet to see if other Honda VFR 1200 F owners had a similar problem . To my shocked surprise there is a recall notice for my type of bike concerning a serious fault with the drive shaft and that could result in a \crash\" and said notice was issued a year ago. I contacted Imperial Honda on 24/03/2016 re this recall only to be told by the dealer principal that they are unaware of it! I forwarded a copy of the recall notice and my details and my bikes details. I got a reply saying that yes there is a recall but there are no parts and no repair procedure issued. I have been trying to get some resolve but to date there is no commitment on Honda's part, nor have I been issued with any type of notice regarding the danger of riding this bike. I have loads of email evidence to prove that many Honda people are aware of my plight but there has been no further communication. Help"
