EXCESS REIMBUR*****T

On the 09/09/2015 I had an accident whereby I was hit at the back by one of the Imperial vehicles truck that transports Woolworth's food in the mornings. My car was a right off and my insurance settled the debt that I still had on the car.
My complaint is that even though Imperial's insurance brokers were advised and they acknowledged liability up until today I have not been compensated for the excess that was deducted from my settlement by the bank. I have send numerous emails to both my insurer and the brokers but nothing is coming forth.
This was not my doing, it was their driver who has now put me in this situation. My left leg was hurt and I had to see doctors and radiologist at my own expense, they just don't care. Is this how we have to be treated even when we are not at fault? The claim details are as follows: RE: 901233 - OURS IMR 23271/42 - IMPERIAL REFRIGERATED SERVICES.
Belinda Wilson is the contact person for Imperial's insurance brokers.
Belinda told me clearly that they will not be held accountable for any injuries sustained during this accident and for me to open a case I would have to get a Lawyer. How do I do that when I was not responsible for this?
