Car Service & Warraty False information

Good day,

I bought a ford Figo last year November 2014.

The last service on the car was done October 2013. I received the car during November 2014.

The car goes for a service every 20000KM interval or 12months whichever comes 1st.

I did ask the imperial sales man that since the 12months after the last service has elapsed won't it render the warranty void. The reply was 'the vehicles was taken for a roadworthiness test, so the warranty won't be void'

I took the car for a service at Ford Richardsbay and there was part that needs to be changed. At a cost of /- R900.

Ford Richardsbay will not perform the change as they are not able to claim on warranty.

As I was told that the warranty will still be active please find me a solution to the problem I have.

I sent a complaint to imperial and received an email but when I call to follow I'm always told the manager is not available.

Ford SA was kind enough to re-instate the warranty to 75%, that mean 25% comes from my pocket.

I would like imperial to refund me the 25% I have paid or may incur in future and also in future to be truthful to their customers.

Regards,

Thembinkosi Sokhela
