Feeling riped off by Ford South Africa
In this point in time I am not a happy client .
I bought the Fiesta a year ago, took it in for a full service and found out that I have to spend R20 000 on repairs.
I took the car to a local macanice for a second opinion. I paid cash fir a Fiesta that kbiw after a year wull cost me R 20 000 to repair. Labour cost R10 000, are you for real ? I am concerned about a noise coming from the car, that was my reason for taking the car for a service at the dealership the experts in Ford.
This one man auto repair shop, told me it comes from the back weels. Which Ford macanice did not even pick up, all that he was concerned is to replace parts , charge me a rediculace price, and I am still sitting with the problem.
I contacted my sales person at your Cape Town brance (Cumenborg) but up to now I had no responds from him. This was a cash deal, clearly they just wanted my money, and no after service is being offered. I want to know if this car went for service before it was sold to me. There is noting noted in the service booklet. This vehicle came in for a trade in, put on the sales floor and sold as is. Thats how I see it. Why dont they respond to my e-mail? The warranty was not even explained on the day of purchase.
I am so disappointed in Ford. My choice was between the Fiesta and Hyundai. I should have gone for Hyundai and most probably got a better after sales service and advice.
To be honest I feel that I'v been rippwd off by Ford South Africa .
Your very upset and disipointed client. Peter Moses
