Misleading and Inaccurate Information of the website

1. The picture on the website for “Camp site” does not look anything like the campsite when you arrive at impact adventures.. There was definitely no paving under or around the tent 2. On the website it clearly states “showers” when we got there we found only one shower which you can hardly call a shower. If there were other people staying at the camp we would have had to share that so called bathroom with random strangers. I understand it is a bush camp and we expected to rough it that night but what you are advertising is not what we found. 3. Restaurant – “Enjoy a lip-smacking burger and Rocklands Blond Craft Beer in the garden” There was no garden the restaurant to our horror was a shack in the veld, you cannot call that a restaurant, it would not pass a health inspection. 4. The website also says relax and watch the river from the camp – You can’t see the river from the camp. 5. Security is a huge problem, the bush camp is outside the fence around the property virtually situated in an isolated veld with a squatter camp a couple of hundred meters away. You are expected to park your car outside the fence as well. In South Africa security is a huge concern and being in the middle of an isolated veld you're at risk of being ******ed or ****d. I tired to work this out with them and asked for half my money back as I only needed to pay 50%. I was stupid and trusting enough to pay in full to which Impact adventures has taken advantage of. The website is full of lies and they refuse to refund me. There is no repercussion or anything to protect the consumer. They are falsely advertising their premises and accommodation and take customers money and get away with it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. People need to know what they are in for when they get to this so called camp site. The facilities are not maintained and are neglected even though we are just coming out of winter. One of their excuses was it is winter. Makes you wonder if the adventure equipment is safe enough to use or are you looking at an accident waiting to happen???
