Not I-moves SA - rather move around SA

If there was a possibility to give a 0 or even less I would have - ONLY use this company if you don’t mind your furniture reaching you a week later and if you don’t mind sleeping on the ground with a 5 year old - no fridge, no washing machine and eating takeout every night (you get the general idea) - the service before they get your money was excellent- received the quote in a half a day, accepted and paid the same day, confirmed time for collection in PTA and drop off in Cape Town (a trip scheduled gor 2 days - and 3 days if something unaccepted should happen on the road) - and thats where all service goes downhill - FAST - from there on you are basically on your phone 24/7, as no one lets you know the truck broke down (and then again ) these things are taken into account, as accidents do happen - but the same truck breaking down 3 times - too many to be coincidental or just bad luck and have I not been as persistent as I was - I would have waited another 3 days (as some of their other customers did - which we shared a truck with). The Owner told us compensation for our extra expenses will be paid in the same day they eventually delivered my furniture- a reimbur*****t of 25% of the moving fees we paid, which a week later they changed to 10% and payment will only be after three weeks - now almost 4 weeks later they refuse to take our calls, answer our emails etc. DO AVOID AS THE OWNER AND STAFF CANNOT KEEP THEIR WORD AND WERE DISLOYAL FROM THE GET GO! Tried out Vredebest 2 weeks later (for another long trip), they were efficient, quick, prices are very similar and professional service the whole way. Picked up on time, delivered on time as promised and the contract stated!
