Retirement visa application

I first contacted Charl to help me get an extension on my tourist visa. He was very friendly and helpful until I paid. After the payment, it seemed he was less available. In the end, I did manage to get the extension. Then my situation changed (due to the death of my fiancé) and I decided to apply for a retirement visa. Again I turned to Charl on Migrate with Q. This time his help was invaluable. Sometimes I felt his communication could have been better to help me understand what was (or wasn't) happening. Then there was a major problem in getting an appointment to submit my application. The problem seemed to be with the website of the SA Embassy, but Charl insisted I had an appointment, although I had no confirmation of one. When I appeared at the Consulate, I was informed that I did not have an appointment. Fortunately, when I showed her the photo of the website problem, she decided to accept my application and I was given the visa. I appreciate all that Charl did in helping me prepare the application file.
