Re-enrollment request declined

I have been studying Bcom in Marketing Management Science with IMM Graduate School until June 2024, my course expired in 30 June 2024 and I still have 8 more modules to complete my degree. I was not able to register for the last Semester of 2024 due to financial constraints and was not in a good mental space.

I wrote Johan an email early January 2025 to enquire about the extension, he said I will not be granted Extention as it's now 6 months after the expiry date, he says I was supposed to apply a month after the expiry date so I then wanted to re-register for the same degree or a different degree course and then be credited the subjects I have already completed but he said I am not allowed to do a degree course , I can either apply for a Higher Certificate or a diploma. I find it very unfair that now I have to downgrade to a lower NQF level when I was well within the last year of a degree course. What about all the money and time invested during year 1 and year 2. It's impossible to apply for the same degree from other colleges and ask for credit transfers from IMM because the modules are totally different. Does IMM consider the interest of the students or is it all about making profit.
