Hollow marketing promises with no delivery.

I’m disappointed with IMM, I started studying with them in 2015 and I was blown away by the service I received. A lady came to my work to explain to me about the different subjects and helped me choose and register to study. Once I was registered my learner guides were delivered to me at work. I told everyone about how amazing IMM’s customer service is. Little did I know that would be the last time I received that type of service. The second semester started and I called to find out when my learner guides would be delivered it was then that I was told that I had to drive into Durban to collect them and if I didn’t want to do that I must just print them. I was also given bright flashy magazines when I signed up and was told that every quarter they would be posted to me, as you can imagine that also never happened I was sent a link to a pdf magazine. Call me old or call me a carbon zapper but I like hard copies and that is what was sold to me when I joined IMM. I tried to raise this with IMM but no one in IMM cared about the fact that I was misled at the sales point and the promises that there marketing team made were not being upheld. Since then I have just been putting up with the shoddy service that I have received so I can just finish my degree and have done with IMM but this semester has sent me over the edge. We are now 2 weeks into the semester and IMM has no hard copies of the learner guide and when you call anyone all they tell you is that you can find them online. That is not an excuse I’m sorry I pay my fees every semester and I expect to have a hard copy of my material available when the semester starts. I don’t think im asking for much. You might have made changes to the syllabus which I would imagine that is what has caused the delay but surely these changes should have been done at the beginning of the year so when the change came into effect this semester everything was ready. As a marketing company IMM needs to not only focus on promising the world to students, they also need to make sure their customer service matches their marketing. Marketing is hollow if you are unable to keep the promises you make!!!!!!!!!!!
