Complaint Against IMM – Misrepresentation & Unjust Refund Delay Institution: IMM Graduate School Complainant: Kim B. Issue: Misleading Information & Unjustified Refund Delay

1. Misrepresentation of Credit Transfers IMM misled me into believing that my son could transfer multiple modules from his previous university, allowing him to complete his degree in two years. Based on this false assurance, I paid the full first semester fees in December 2024. Only one module was later approved, meaning he would have to restart his entire degree, making IMM unviable for us.

2. IMM Accepted Payment Before Verifying Credit Transfers IMM only confirmed on 23 January 2025—after payment was made—that most of his modules would not transfer. If they had disclosed this earlier, I would never have enrolled.

3. IMM Registered a Module Without our knowledge & Used It to Delay Refund IMM unilaterally registered a module without informing us of them doing so. Although I submitted a cancellation request on 30 January 2025, IMM failed to process it and later used the “active module” as an excuse to block my refund.

4. IMM has unreasonably delayed the refund Refund request was formally submitted on 5 February 2025, as of the 3rd of March, I have not received my money. Their own finance department admitted that the delay was due to their internal failure to cancel the module.

5. IMM Provided No Services, Yet Is Withholding Funds My son never attended a single class or used any IMM services. IMM has incurred zero costs on his behalf, yet is refusing to process the full refund.

Final Complaint IMM has shown poor administration, misleading business practices, and unfair refund policies. Despite multiple follow-ups, they continue to delay and withhold funds unjustifiably. The replies to my follow upas are few and far between, and they keep passing the responisiblity of delaing with our case from one person to another.
