An awful experience - Semester 1 2024

The first time I registered with the institution was in 2012 but first semester 2024, attempting to complete the module that was remaining to finish my honours degree proved to be the worst experience ever. A couple of months into the semester I sensed that the supervisor assigned to me and I were not aligning and I flagged this with the institution and I requested I be assigned a new supervisor to which they refused stating she is 'their best'. I did this twice and there is more detail to this. My final submission was guided by this supervisor for a good six months and that is the side of this situation they are not willing to look into. It's concerning that academia of students are put in the hands of individuals who give demeaning feedback and are overall harsh. Fast forward to the end of the semester to final submissions, I don't pass the module and I am told because I am out of time I have to register the course or choose a different course meaning I have to pay for all the modules including the ones I have passed again because of one module I failed and will not get credited for the modules that I did pass. The institution is not forth coming with information of processes and how things work and I always felt like I was begging to be responded to and it does not help that the only form of communication is e-mail because they you have to wait for them to get back to it when 'they get to it'

Overall an aweful semester that was emotionally and mentally draining. Studying is not easy, its difficult but institutions should not make worse than it already is by assigning individuals that are not in support students cause and constantly change modules standards.
