Pathetic Services Received
Good day,
I opened an account with IMB for my company and 12 of my employees being li ked to this one account.
An agent came to see us and completed all the paper work last year issuing all or us bank atm cards.
IMB closed almost all of their branches and have left Standard Bank to be part of Absa Bank. Due to our countries current pandemic which started almost 6 months ago I put my workers on short time hence no wages were paid into the accounts for 3 months. This resulted in 2 employees cards being retained by an atm 3 months ago. I have finally received the cards AFTER 3 MONTHS last week Thursday fter spending hours/days on the phone, sending numerous emails back and forth and have sent countless watsapp messages, you hold on for up to 30 mins before being assisted by a consultant if not hanging up. When they do call they put me through to support but the call always gets dropped.
I thought that I would be helping my employees by assisting them in opening these accounts as IMB advised it would be easier to send money nationally. The cards are still Not activated since Thursday last week and I have not received any help from the watsapp line or the phone line. The service is really pathetic and time consuming. Can Absa Bank help me please in this regard as I am getting no help from IMB.
The money laying in these account are wages that was paid 3 months ago. Is IMB now taking their money and why can't these cards be activated so my 2 employees affected can draw their hard earned wages. I even made a deposit on Thursday of R50 as it says on the letter where the bank card is attached that the card will be activated when salary/money gets deposited into the account.
Please help me Hello Peter as I do not know what to do anymore. I think I have now just about run out of patience with IMB. I cannot believe they would treat their customers this way.
Thank you
