Unpleasant Hotels

Imaging Cruising booked us in the worst hotels imaginable. Miss leading photographs and descriptions of the hotels lead to a more than disappointing experience. Hotel Pricilla in Rome was dirty, WHEN WALKING ON THE CARPET YOUR FEET WERE LEFT FILTHY. The smallest shower ever, opening onto the toilet one had to step over, unpleasant staff and certainly not a three star experience. This hotel was more like a back packer hotel. Hotel Corte Contarina in Venice even worse, Imagine sent us pictures of this newly renovated hotel. Well our daughters room was in the process of being renovated, broken tiles on the bathroom floor with cement in the shower, filthy dirty room. My husband and I had a room with a bed squashed against the wall that I had to climb over my husband to get into the bed. When we asked to be moved we were told to get another hotel if we did not like it. The staff were rude and unpleasant. We called Imagine Cruising from Rome for assistance, CLEARLY THEY HAD OUR MONEY UP FRONT AND ARE NOT REMOTELY INTERESTED. Would not recommend this company ever, there hotel photo's and info is completely miss leading.
